(A) directions from greater Portland and points north, and
(B) for travellers coming from the south.

...if you're coming from the south or the Maine Mall area.
- From Maine Turnpike (not shown on this map) take exits 45 from South, 52 from North to I-295.
- I-295 to Exit 6A (different 6A: Forest Avenue South) into Portland.
- From Forest Ave. exit turn right onto State Street (Route 77) at Deering Oaks Park.
- Follow State Street through Portland onto the Casco Bay Bridge to South Portland.
- Go through the light at the end of the bridge, continuing straight onto Broadway (road bears left coming off bridge).
- Go through next light (flanked by pizza palaces).
- Turn right at 2nd light onto Cottage Road. You will drive 2.0 miles to our road.
Landmarks are the library and a 60's-vintage church with a large vertical mural. - Follow this road roughly 1.9 miles until you see the main entrance to Fort Williams/Portland Head Light on the left (shortly after a blinking yellow light at the Post Office).
- Olde Fort Road is just after this entrance, on the right, just after a pair of newer tan houses.
- #10 is the 4th house on the left, with a yellow hydrant on the lawn.
A doorbell/intercom is at the door. - We share a driveway with another house (#12). Their house is on the right side of the driveway.
Please do not park in their area of the driveway, and remember to car pool.
(B) Alternate directions to the studio (from the south):
...if you're coming from the south or the Maine Mall area.
- From the Maine Turnpike (northbound) take Exit 45.
- Shortly after the tollbooth take the Route 295 (N) Exit.
- Take the first exit (Exit 4) off 295: Portland Waterfront.
- You will be on an access road: at the light, about 1/2 mile further on, bear right, following the sign for Route 1A North, ("Truck Route, Waterfront, Cassidy Point": you will turn left about 8/10 mile after this stop sign).
- Drive down to join Route 1A North (Commercial Street).
- Stay on Commercial Street, passing a large multicolored building on your left, with star-shaped signs along its side.
- Turn left shortly after that building, onto Beach Street at the "Draw Bridge Up When Flashing' sign, to get onto the Casco Bay Bridge.**
- You will merge with existing bridge traffic..
- Go through the light at the end of the bridge, continuing straight onto Broadway (road bears left coming off bridge).

**If you miss your turn and find yourself going under the bridge, just continue down Commercial Street, looking for a left onto High Street.
Turn left there and take the next left (at light), and you'll find your way to the bridge. -

and Fort Williams Park are just across the road from Studio Dual. They're beautiful places to visit any time of year.
